The Iliad Housing Promise
As RPI alumni, it is our mission to provide you with a transparent and simple process to find off-campus housing. Below is our promise and commitment to you, so that you can focus on your student experience and academics at RPI.
Fully Furnished
Each bedroom is fully furnished with a mattress, bed frame, desk, and chair. For storage, each bedroom either has a built-in closet or a dresser.
All Utilities Included
Water, sewage, electricity, gas, and trash removal are all included. Never worry about having to create a National Grid account or having to split bills.
Free Wi-Fi
Each apartment has its own dedicated Wi-Fi with a standalone modem and router with 600 Mbps. Never worry about slow Wi-Fi with too many people being connected and throttling the bandwidth.
Individual Leases
We offer individual leases so you never need to be concerned about being financially responsible for other students paying rent in a group lease.
As RPI alumni, we tailor our leases to align with the RPI academic calendar.
Property Management Included
We provide you with your own mobile application to easily submit maintenance requests and submit and automate electronic rent payments.
Our property management team is local to Troy, NY, and is communicative and quick to respond to any maintenance tickets.
Free Laundry
Each property has a washer and dryer that is either in-unit or within the property that is free for you to use anytime.
Iliad Housing was Founded for RPI Students by RPI Alumni
As an RPI graduate, I know firsthand that finding off-campus housing can be stressful. After talking with more than 100 students and recent alumni through focus groups, it became clear that many of us were facing the same frustrations. That's why I founded Iliad Housing, to create a better off-campus rental experience for RPI students.From transparent pricing and responsive communication to an easy-to-use maintenance request system, we built Iliad Housing around what students actually need. Our goal is simple: to make finding and living in off-campus housing as easy and hassle-free as possible.Giving back to the RPI community has always been an important part of who we are. I continue to stay involved by serving on the Lally School of Management Advisory Board, mentoring undergraduate students, and supporting the RPI Student Food Pantry. As proud RPI alumni, my team and I are committed to investing in RPI and Troy community and always looking for ways to give back. While it can be an intimidating process to find off-campus housing my team and I are on a mission to help guide you through the process and help answer any questions you might have, that way you can make an educated decision on the best fit for your housing needs.
